Hi, and welcome to our website.
We are a small and friendly Club with around 20 members, and we try to get away at least once a month during the year.
We have changed the layout slightly for 2014, and all the sites we will be going to are now in the Sites Info tab where you will find dates and prices, along with all the information you need to know.
Please have a read about our aims on the About page, and take a look at all our events planned for 2014 in the “Events 2014 drop down menu. Our first event of 2014 is over the Easter long weekend in April, at Assington Farm
We are also now planning for 2015, so if there is an area you would like us to look at, let us know and we will see what we can do. We have had to disable comments as it was all spam, so please send any comments to email@example.com
That was probably the hottest weekend of the year and yay we were camping at Low Farm in Waldringfield.
The days boiling hot, the nights a bit chilly, but we can put up with that.
As it was so hot, what more could you do but just sit there with book in one hand and a glass of something cold in the other! That’s right nothing but chill out.
Well we are nearing the end of our first year of “the club”, we have just one more event planned and that’s at Dans Meadow.
So TTFN, and see ya there……
August bank holiday and yes it rained, and boy did it rain!! At least the swans loved it.
Friday was a lovely summers day, with the gentle stream flowing by, even the river was quite warm, the kids and adults having about of a paddle. Saturday started out lovely, the water was warm the kids having some fun and the adults trying out the canoes, then it rained and the wind blew, was this autumn? I think it may have been the tail end of a hurricane. Sunday dawned and while it was an overcast day it was quite warm, again the kids in the river and cup of tea and book in hand lazing by the river.
All in all a good long weekend was had by all who attended.
See you on the next one…..
Well, what can I say a beautiful few days spent at Breck farm near Holt in Norfolk.
The sun at last is shining (dare I say it was too hot). The site, although very busy, was quite quiet considering the kids are on school holidays. Sherringham is only 3 miles away and Cromer is about 6 miles.
The reason for booking this site is that it is Cromer carnival week, with lots going on, including a procession through the town, firework display and a red arrows fly past.
Breck farm is a working farm with cows in an adjoining field and chickens running around. The camp site itself is split into 4 fields, some with electric hook up. There is also another large field set aside for a play area.
All in all quite a nice site especially for exploring the north Norfolk coast.
Just back from a weekend at Homestead lake park, situated in Weeley near Clacton. A very nice weekend, plenty of sunshine and warmth lol.
The site is located behind Homestead caravans and accessories shop, it’s a massive shop, possibly stocking almost everything you could probably want for your camping needs.
There is an actual site and a very large rally field, which we were on. It’s all grass and mainly flat, no hook-ups, but very good, clean showers and toilets.
Our next trip away is at Holt in Norfolk, look forward to seeing you all there..ttfn
Well what a summer we are having!! I think the gods know when we are camping and think our caravans and motorhomes must be dirty, as so far I think it has rained every time we are away…oh well thats camping for you. We can plan for everything else but not the weather.
Still a good, but challenging time was had by all that attended. Tracy and Stuart with their new caravan, it’s just a case of getting to know what switch does what and who gets to do the nice jobs and who gets to empty the loo lol.
This site is a very pleasant and quiet site, even though the adria club were having a rally on there. Bloomers, the owner is never far away if you required help etc. I thought I might if the motorhome got stuck, but fortunately, no problems.
This will definitely be on the cards for future rallies….
See you all soon
Just back from a weekend at Dans meadow, just as well we didn’t listen to the weather forecast, because I’ve never got a tan from rain before……
A lovely warm but windy weekend at one of our favourite sites, good company, good food and plenty of drink to go around.
We had a disco and buffet on the Saturday night, so all in all a great night.
Also welcome to our latest members Raymond and Julia, who just happened to be relaxing on the same site. I’m sure we will be seeing a lot more of this couple as they are very like minded i.e. they like to join in, they like to have a laugh and best of all they enjoy camping.
Look forward to next venue at Clockhouse farm..
Well, what can you say about this site near Wrentham. It’s about a 10 minute drive from Lowestoft approximately 45 minutes from Ipswich and the site is lovely.
It’s quiet, well maintained and of course, as the name suggests, they have 4 fishing ponds, for those of you who want to catch that elusive “big one”.
Just back from a dull and damp, but typical bank holiday weekend away at Low farm in Waldringfield.
A good time was had by all that attended, you make the most of the time away.
We are here again in September, we will have use of the hall,so we will be holding a disco.
Those wanting hook-up please let me know, so I can let the site know.
Our next trip away is at Field Farm Fisheries in Wrentham, so not too far. If enough people are going to attend then we will do a “street party” on a field type of thing with possibly cream teas.
Look forward to seeing you there.
Well, what a weekend! There was rain, rain and to top it off a bit more rain…..I’ve never seen the river level with the field before. And after last year what a contrast.
8 members braved the cold and damp days and even damper nights to have a fun long weekend, it didn’t dampen their spirits though, and I hear a lot of spirits were about, of the liquid kind.
With only one member having to be pulled out by tractor, well done Mel, I think a good time was had by all.
Well let’s see what the next rally brings and that’s at Low Farm in Waldringfield, hope to see you all there.
